The model 135 is based on Chickering’s famous Quarter Grand design which was one of the most effective compact grand piano designs in the history of piano building. It is several inches narrower than other pianos, yet still has the full 88 keys.

The model 135 sits at 5'4" and has a beautiful clear tone that is bright but still with a true American dark woody tone. This particular piano is has been fully restored and is in excellent condition with all the action parts in perfect working condition featuring German Abel hammers, the soundboard is all original with no cracks or spilts in the wood. Pins are holding very tight and have many years of tuning left in them. Cabinet is in great shape with only minor cosmetic blemishes that can only be seen if you look closely.

This is the perfect instrument for the musician who wants a beautiful looking piano that has a fantastic sound and feel to go with it.
